Salesforce Developer

Objectives of this Role:

• Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Support and optimize the functionality of existing Salesforce applications.
• Integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement system improvements.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce security and development best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and other technologies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, and design documents.
• Gather and document requirements for Salesforce solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices in new and existing solutions.
• Stay updated on Salesforce features and recommend improvements to existing implementations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Proficient in Salesforce administration, including Salesforce Lightning Framework, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development tools.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, Administrator).
• Experience with web technologies & APEX.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
• Python basic knowledge.
• Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI skills.
