Large Format Scanning Drawings by ARDEM

Scanning Drawings which are up to 42 inch wide and up to 600 DPI resolution. All large format scanning is done on state of the art wide format scanners. ARDEM provides high quality scanning of large format scanning for drawings in color, gray-scale and in Black and White.

ARDEM scans architectural drawings, engineering drawings, construction plans, facility plan layout drawings. These drawings could be Black and White, Blueprints, Blue-line drawings. We can scan drawings which were originally created on paper, Mylar, onion skin and even on linen. Drawings are typically scanned scanned to Tiff, PDF or JPEG formats.

Drawings are picked up at your location, or, you can mail them to our processing location.

We will prepare the drawings for scanning- which based on the condition of drawing can be only flattening the drawing, or could be as elaborate as repairing any torn drawings, or placing a fragile drawing in a clear laminate sleeve before scanning.

Drawings very often require optimization of scanner settings to achieve the best quality of scan images. This is very often driven by the condition of drawing, whether it is a blue line, whether it is on paper or Mylar or onion skin paper.

After scanning  the meta data index is created which allows for ease of search and retrieval of the scan image of the drawing.
