Outsourcing can reduce operating cost when the proposed workflow requires less total effort or replaces costs your organization would otherwise incur. Potential sources include reduced rework, fewer repetitive tasks, coordinated delivery and less internal supervision.
Build the comparison from your actual baseline. Include implementation, service fees, systems and the internal responsibilities you keep. Staff time released for other work is useful capacity, but it is not automatically a cash saving. Avoid counting the same improvement twice.
ARDEM reviews scope and operating requirements with your team. See how to assess the business value and the AP cost-comparison framework.
