ARDEM and your team agree the status categories, reporting cadence and measures needed to manage the workflow. Reports or a maintained queue distinguish received work, accepted completed output, items still in process, rework and exceptions awaiting information or a decision.
Each unresolved item needs a reason, accountable owner, next action and checkpoint. Define the measurement population, service-clock start and stop points, cutoffs and exclusions so a headline percentage can be understood. A rejected record remains open even if it was transmitted.
The sample AP operating review illustrates these principles. Its figures are invented examples, not client results or service-level commitments; the same reporting discipline can be adapted to the agreed document workflow.
